Join our 6th – 8th Pilot Program

June 22, 2018

We are excited to announce the opportunity to pilot our ROOTED: Theology of the Body curriculum for 6th through 8th Grade. This curriculum is an authentic embodiment of the teachings of John Paul II. This is presented to inspire awe and wonder in middle schoolers with this beautiful message of their identity as sons and daughters of God.

The Core of our 6th-8th Curriculum

At the heart of our curriculum is a Commonplace Book that is developed for each individual student. This contains the written lessons, but more importantly provides compelling questions and plenty of room to capture thoughts, quotes, and impressions. This book is intended to become part of the learning experience — a touchstone — for students t

o return to and ponder again and again as each journeys

toward their destiny.

The units in each grade consist of the lesson, the discussion, the experience, and Beyond the

Classroom. Each grade has its own theme where the students can encounter the beauty of God and his creation.

Grade 6   Identity & Gift
Grade 7  Freedom & Virtue
Grade 8  Vocation & Communion

When you participate in the pilot, you play an integral role in the development of this world-class curriculum — with opportunities for you and your students to provide feedback through surveys we will provide in January 2019. We are working hard to roll out the finished curriculum in the 2019-20 school year.

We are so blessed to be given the gift of Theology of the Body and it is our honor to cultivate and inspire authentic love in our young students. It is a joy to invite you on this journey to help us instill these teachings to our future generations.

The cost to participate is minimal – just enough to cover the cost of materials. You can get a closer look here. The Teacher’s Guide is $8 and each student Common Place Book is $3. We pray that you discern this opportunity and feel called to help us develop these materials in a beautiful way.
